The moment I’m blogging this, I am just about to edit spiels for tomorrow’s big event in the headquarters. (Ahm… The headquarters is another story. I owe you that.) But since I feel sooo tired of writing and typing and thinking office stuff, I’ll just share you some happiness rather than posting an ALL-CAPS-SHOUT-OUT of “TIRED!” with an inverted i.
Here’s the happy part (haba ng intro) Last Saturday, Lifehouse went live in Manila. Araneta Coliseum to be exact. This time, I don’t have to endure a sweaty hour of long line just to get through the general admission gate.
How close am I? Close enough to get some clear (I mean not so blurry and grainy) shots when you zoom a digicam in its tightest. hehe Here are some Lifehouse Smoke and Mirrors concert photos I’d like to share with you. Please don’t expect much. I only take photos when I don’t know the lyrics of the song.haha

The guitar picks…

Jason Wade of Lifehouse
By the end of smoke and mirrors show, there are still 3 guitar picks on the mic stand. I asked the sound system guy for one. JUST ONE and he took all three!!! Grrr…

Lifehouse Drummer Ricky Woolstenhulme, Jr. - His face was the hardest to catch.

No, Bryce’s was the hardest to capture pala! He’s the farthest guy from our seat. hehe That’s the bassist, Bryce Soderberg.

And this is Ben Carey, my favorite. :)

The band took photos of the crowd to show their Araneta concert to their facebook fans. :) It seemed like they enjoyed performing in Manila. It’s not surprising anymore. We Filipinos really have the heart for music and we love good musicians (actually, even the not-so-good ones).
Yes, it’s more fun to perform in the Philippines despite the Lady Gaga concert protest. Just a piece of advice… If you don’t feel like buying Lady Gaga tickets, you should’ve looked for other concert tickets, Justin Bieber tickets, maybe Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets or you could just not watch. For even if it’s a free country where you can complain all you want, still, it’s the country where concert-goers can party all they want. :)
“Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend?”
Somewhere along in the bitterness, I wish I kept the first rose I’ve ever had.
It was a special day and I was wearing the perfect floral tank top for summer. Just the two of us. We were walking under the heat, outside the cathedral where she married my dad. Then I noticed a stall of roses and rosaries. A peach rose caught my attention. I didn’t stare at it, it can’t be more than 3 seconds.
Then she asked, “Gusto mo nyan?”.
I didn’t say a thing but the next thing I know, she bought it. The vendor had put it in a long, narrow, brown paper bag. She handed it to me and said that it was her birthday gift to me.
It felt so good for a nine year-old girl to receive a rose (that is uniquely peach) like a lady does. It felt good that I didn’t even know then what to do with it and that’s the last thing I can remember about the first rose I’ve ever had… and the last birthday I shared with her.
Had I known better, I should’ve kept it in a bottle… But no, I’ve never known any better than mom. One look and she knows what I want.
I miss you, mommy! Happy mother’s day!
“I would’ve stayed up with you all night, Had I known how to save a life…”

At paki sabi…
MISS NA MISS NA MISS KO NA ‘SYA. :’(

I am “PROUD” of them. These dudes rocked my debut party and since the night they did, I have always believed in their talent and potentials.
There’s one thing I am certain about this band: Wherever their music leads them to, I’ll follow. I can say, “I’m their #1 Fan.” but I’d rather say… “They’re my jo’s.”
Love you, babies! haha Rock on!
PROUDMARY is ♥.
This is a photo op with PM band during their band rehearsal last Palm Sunday, April 1, 2012. Don’t mind Donard’s tummy.hehe:’)
YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO THROW IT UP …not on somebody else! Hehe
Congrats, Kapatid! This is really is it is it is it… Don’t forget Ate on your first pay day. :)
12:06 AM. It’s no longer the 13th.
Okay.
I was 22 the other day and now, I’m 23… A number every 20 year-old woman is uncertain about reaching.
My ‘oh-so-cute’ fondant birthday cake courtesy of The Sweet Creations.
It’s lovely ‘coz it’s not just cake… It’s cake with looove! Yes, the sweetest of all creations is baked with love.
I ❤ it that I felt the need for a photo shoot. :)
P.S. Today is the day I was baked… with looove!
When my Singapore days would fall on summertime, I’d usually go out to spot a Wall’s umbrella to buy a dollar-worth of peppermint choc chip ice cream bar, sandwiched between two wafer biscuits. But in case I fail to find one, that means I have to go to the nearest hawker or food junction and order a bowl of Ice Kacang…
Tapos behave kuno. Ang sarap yatang tumawa deep inside kapag may kaklase kang napapagalitan. Wahaha.
Memorable. Moon So Round And Yellow by Matthias Barr. (Yes, yellow!)
Weeee!!! Happy Easter!!! Thank you, Lord, for a ‘box’ full of chocolates. I may never know what I’m gonna get but it’s a wonderful blessing! :’)
After a little nerve-wracking exam (Profiler, Mathematics, Matrices, Vocabulary, Grammar, Spelling and Writing Composition) that lasted 3 holy hours PLUS a little freaky investigation (Thanks to that receptionist who gave me wrong passes)… It’s a total relief to get a free ride home and be free from the magical public van compression!
Super thanks to my sissies, Ate Dette and Clarisse. :) It’s been 2 weeks since I got back in the Philippines and I just met them again since the last time I can’t even remember.
It seemed like a very short journey for our long chit-chat… and I miss them a lot. Heaven is their passenger’s seat. :’)
