Relief. Better days are here. Amen!
HEAVYGAT
I seriously feel the guilt of wishing for a reason to not go to work. Many people may have cursed this day for all the disasters that happened. But remember, God never forgets to create miracles everyday.
God did not pour raindrops just to let us see how destructive rainfall can be. But then, we ask… Why?
Why rain so hard? Why these high floods? Why those hardly earned houses? Why not spare those kids? Why don’t you stop?
A test of faith? Maybe. A punishment? Could be. But I doubt He needs to test us when He knows us inside out.
Maybe it’s just about time for us to test our own faith. Maybe we needed to repeat the lessons of nature for us to learn it. Maybe He wants us to do something else or not do what we ought to do today. Maybe it’s more than the lessons of nature.
Could be something our professors or an ordinary day in the office can’t teach. Maybe He wants you to know the real value of things you surround yourself. To realize your basic role as a human being. To realize that you can actually do this tomorrow, and do that the following day when you believed it can’t be done any later. Maybe to realize what really matters in this world. Maybe to understand life. Maybe. Just maybe.
But this, I know is certain: Today, He woke us up. And I don’t think He’ll do that just to see us suffering. There’s more to these tears from heaven than just washing some streets.
Stay safe.

Just so we know what it means when they announce color alert levels. Here’s a simple chart of PAGASA’s color-coded warnings.

SOS! THIS IS WHAT WE NEED NOW
I am writing this because I know, the world can read it.
I am writing this because I hope, the world will notice it.
As of this moment, my relatives, friends and fellow Bulakenyos in Calumpit, Hagonoy, Pulilan, Obando, Bulakan and kababayans in other parts of our country are in need of the following due to massive flooding left by Typhoon Pedring:
1. Prayers. The easiest and most powerful.
2. Rubber Boats. If your municipalities can lend us your spare boats, it can really help as there are still lots of families waiting at their roofs to be rescued.
3. Chopper. Some parts that need rescuing can’t be reached by rescuers by boat. Nothing’s impossible here.
4. Bed sheets for the evacuation centers
5. Canned Goods and Noodles. Relief goods that will last longer.
6. Drinking water. They don’t have access to clean and safe water as of the moment.
7. Extra clothes. Most of them haven’t saved a thing from their washed out properties.
8. Medicines.
9. Financial Assistance. Money is supposed to lubricate things so let it ease the rehabilitation. There is NO LITTLE PLEDGE. Every donation counts.
10. Volunteers. People who can share their time.
You can contact (044) 791 0566 to ask how you can send your support. Or may Google agencies and networks where you can give your donations. Let’s use the power of the internet. I know,
nothing’s impossible here. Wherever you are, you can do something.

The other side of the world is just a click away…so why not reach out?
This is a test we shall pass.
THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER WAY.
Let’s stop blaming the officials and MAKE A MOVE.
LIFE is MORE IMPORTANT than opinions.
The world can read this, I know.
PS. If you have relatives in the affected areas who are still waiting for rescuers, tell them to go to safe higher places as the flood level is expected to rise. Another typhoon will visit us and our dam will definitely need to release more water. Tell them to save batteries, prepare flashlights and mirrors to make them noticeable in the dark. There is a roaming chopper for rescue operations. Stay safe.

BIOME 2011: For The Love Of Living Things
For the love of all things breathing and trying to live and for the love of my cousin, I liked a page in Facebook. This maybe just the idea of “Please help by liking” but more than that, I like to share the idea that…
1. It’s interesting how many students invest on Mass Communication nowadays to extract the potentials there is in talent, hone, push it beyond the limits and share it to the world…
2. But it’s always good to know that there are students who choose to invest on courses which, on the other hand, extract the details of the beautiful science of nature, discovering things beyond our knowledge and share it to the world…
Having both cases, let us support these people who are working on their dreams.
As for this moment, my couz is asking for likes, a usual thing Facebook users were accustomed of. No matter how bothering, what is a simple click to help other beings? So go hit the link, like the page.
And just as kind as you didn’t unfollow me for flooding your dashboards, a little favor, it will again be so kind of you to vote for Biology Miss Earth Contestant Number 12…
Please? For the love of a bloggy Sunday, let me press you to the limits or at least… consider this effort to convince you. Haha
Thank you so much!
P.S. It doesn’t matter what country you’re from. As the rules suggest, there is no limit on WHO are eligible to vote as long as you can.
SAY NO TO DENGUE

LIGHT A KATOL! hehehe
WHAT AN ART! …and what a shame! Yes, I find this cigarette butt display a bit interesting and a bit attractive so I took a photo of it. But smokers, please be responsible enough to discard them properly. The remnants of cigarette smoking are the most common source of litter collected across the world. Cigarette Butts are toxic to people and animals, too. Reports on cases of moderate toxicity due to nicotine poisoning arise along with hundreds of cases of cigarette butt consumption among children. These butts are non-biodegradable but can be recycled as filling agents in various molding applications.
Ayun. Just so you know. I understand the stress-buster and relaxation thing about smokers. And I can do nothing about chain smokers who don’t care much about their health. But my plea to you, smokers is at least, care to dispose them properly.
